Party it up at the infamous River City Saloon!

The WordCamp Sacramento 2015 after party is happening right in the heart of Sacramento’s historic district at the infamous River City Saloon.

Your WordCamp day doesn’t end when the sessions end. No way! We’ve got a party for you too — and it is included with your ticket! Yes, you MUST have a WordCamp ticket to attend.

On November 7, 2015, when our day of learning and networking at the Art Institute of California — Sacramento ends, we’ll break for dinner. This is your chance to grab some old and new friends and grab a bite to eat. Then we’ll all meet up again at the River City Saloon for an after party.

The after party is a great way to unwind and relax in a more casual atmosphere with your WordPress peers. This is a great place to continue conversations from the day, meet some new people you haven’t yet connected with, and strengthen relationships.

We’ll have more information about the after party as we get closer to the event, but we’re pretty excited, and we hope you are too!

Hotels

We’ve got a full list of hotels for you to choose from if you’re coming in from out of town, but the Embassy Suites is the one we recommend most! Not only is it right next to Old Town Sacramento, it’s on the river with beautiful views, and a super short walk to the after party!

Old Sacramento

Sacramento has a rich and diverse history rooted in the California gold rush and Old Sacramento is where it’s at. The unique 28-acre National Historic Landmark District and State Historic Park is located along the beautiful Sacramento River. Bustling with activity, the district is alive with shopping, dining, entertainment, historical attractions and world-renowned museums set within the time of the California Gold Rush and the Transcontinental Railroad.

Old Sacramento is the site of the California State Railroad Museum, the California Automobile Museum, the California State Military Museum, the Sacramento History Museum, the Wells Fargo History Museum and the Old Sacramento Interpretive Center.

Other attractions available for visitors include rides in horse-drawn carriages, historic trains from the former Central Pacific Railroad passenger station, and cruises on historic riverboats. A historic sternwheel riverboat, the Delta King, is moored in the river and serves as a hotel, restaurant and theater.
