WordCamp Sacramento 2015 is happening on November 7, 2015 at the Art Institute of California — Sacramento<\/strong>, located at 2850 Gateway Oaks Dr #100, Sacramento, CA 95833. Get a map and more info about the event venue on the Location<\/a> page.<\/p>\n Here’s a quick rundown of the day:<\/strong><\/p>\n Registration for the event will open at 7:15 am.<\/strong> We’ll have more than 150 people to register, including passing out t-shirts, lanyards, and name badges. We’re doing our best to organize everything in advance to register you as quickly as possible, but if everyone shows up at the last minute… Yikes! We don’t want anyone to miss the first session of the day.<\/em><\/p>\n Also, please note that the registration table will be staffed throughout the event — it will be your go to location for any event questions and needs.<\/p>\n Get your mingling and networking on from 7:15-8:30 am.<\/strong> Chat with sponsors, snag some swag, have some coffee, and chat it up. WordCamp is a great place to get to know other WordPressers better and to meet new ones. Who knows… you may find a new friend, partner, subcontractor, vendor, JV partner, or other awesome person.<\/p>\n At 8:30 am, WordCamp kicks off<\/strong> with a welcome message and opening remarks.<\/p>\n Sessions begin right after at 9:00 am.<\/strong> Our first sessions of the day in both the Beginner\/User Track<\/a> and the Advanced\/Developer Track<\/a> are awesome, so be sure to get a seat early!<\/p>\n At 12:00 pm, we’ll break for a super yummy catered lunch<\/strong> and fill our bellies with Chipotle! But walk around some too though, you don’t want to be in a food coma for the first sessions after lunch — well, all the sessions after lunch — because they’re awesome.<\/p>\n At 3:00 pm, we’ll enjoy a half hour snack break<\/strong> to again visit with sponsors, stretch our legs, hit the restrooms, and grab a snack to enjoy during the final sessions of the day, which are sure to deliver at least a few gold nuggets of wisdom.<\/p>\n The day of learning comes to a close at 5:30 pm<\/strong> with closing remarks — but the night is still young, and no way is the fun over. After the event, head on out with your WordPress friends, both old and new, for dinner… then get ready for more!<\/p>\n The WordCamp Sacramento After Party begins 7:00 pm<\/strong> at the River City Saloon in Old Sacramento. Come on out, enjoy a fun beverage, and keep the conversations going… who knows what new opportunities they may lead to.
