WordCamp Sacramento is a Volunteer Organized and Run Conference for The WordPress Community
WordCamp Sacramento takes hundreds of hours to create, plan, manage, and run — and every bit of time is donated by community volunteers who spend their own time and resources to make WordCamp a reality for our local community. No one associated with WordCamp — not the organizers, not the speakers, and not the event volunteers. No one gets paid in any way.
Planning of the 2016 event began in February with the hunt for a venue. Beginning in May, the organizing team began planning the event and meeting both in person and via a private Slack Channel.
If you’ve been watching WordCamp Sacramento and have ideas, suggestions, opinions, desires for the future events, etc., we encourage you to pay attention to what’s happening with the event, talk to the organizers at the event and ask questions, and check out the information below.
We are ALWAYS looking for new people who would like to help out volunteer their time to enhance our local WordPress community!
