Ozzy Rodriguez is an East Coast soul living in a West Coast world. Hailing from San Jose Ozzy is the Lead Developer at WP Site Care where he works on new project builds, digital products, and supporting customers who need a WordPress team that they can rely on. When he’s not coding you’ll find Ozzy at the ballpark, your local WordPress meetup, or catching the latest Kevin Hart flick at the local theater.

What inspired you to give this talk at WordCamp?
This is an idea I’ve had for a while, and after discussing it with designers and developers, I thought WordCamp Sacramento would be the perfect place to give it!
How did you discover WordPress?
I had been building websites for a while, and one day back in 2005, I read an article about blogging and though the idea of it was pretty cool. I started doing some research on the subject and found that, if you had a blog, it should be in WordPress. I never actually started that blog.
How has WordPress Or WordCamp impacted you?
WordPress and WordCamps have brought me many friendships that I treasure everyday!
How do you primarily work with WordPress?
I mostly use WordPress to build stuff on the internet.
What does the WordCamp theme Discovery mean to you?
I’ve discovered so much and continue to discover new things everyday. One of the coolest things about WordPress is that so many people share their discoveries!
What is the latest book you read?
The Big Short by Michael Lewis.
What is your favorite restaurant? Favorite menu item?
In N Out. Number 1, no onions, with a large strawberry milkshake.
What TV series are you current binging on/into?
Real Husbands of Hollywood.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy sports, whether it be watching at home or in person. A good movie is never a bad thing, either!
