Securing a Ticket Can Be Tough

After all tickets for WordCamp Sacramento 2015 sold out in just over two hours, we knew tickets for our 2016 event would sell out fast, and they did. The first round of 150 tickets sold out in only 44 minutes. So if you weren’t at your computer at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 1, you probably didn’t get a ticket. Bummer.

The second round of tickets for WordCamp Sacramento 2016 goes on sale this evening, Wednesday, September 7 at 6:00 pm.

But what happens if your kids have soccer or you coach soccer, or you’ll be commuting home, or you’re busy and can’t get to a computer? Bummer again.

You could wait for the third and final round of tickets to go on sale and try to get your ticket then. That is always an option. But what if you’re busy then too? What if you’re not going to be near a computer?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just get a guaranteed ticket and be done with it, skipping all the fuss of buying a ticket along with everyone else?

I love building on the web and mobile. I love startups (I’ve now started three of them). At this point, I feel like a salty web old timer, but with that comes hard won skills on both the tech and business fronts. I’m skilled with Php, Ruby on Rails, MySql, Postgres, Javascript & Node, Famous, React, Polymer and a healthy smattering of other buzzy acronyms.
