WordCamp Sacramento 2016, happening October 22-23, 2016 at the Harper Alumni Center at Sacramento State University, is just around the corer. It’s now only about six weeks away and all of the details are coming together to create an event that we’re really proud of — just take a look at the schedule!
The first round of tickets went on sale a couple weeks ago and sold our in only 44 minutes! The second round of tickets went on sale last week and sold out in two days. The third round of WordCamp tickets will go on sale Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 12:00 pm pacific time (noon).
The third round of tickets is the last round of tickets. They will be the last tickets available for the event total. This means no more tickets will go for sale. No tickets will be given away. This is the last chance to grab a ticket for yourself — that is, unless you step up and love on the Sacramento WordPress community by sponsoring the event!
So again, here’s what we recommend:
- Bookmark the Tickets Page
- Set a reminder for 11:50 am, 10 minutes before tickets go on sale so you can get in front of your computer.
- Set another reminder for 12:00 pm, so you don’t get busy checking email or clicking around social media and forget to buy your ticket.
- If tickets aren’t available at 12:00 pm on your screen, be sure to clear your cache and browser history, then restart your browser. If that doesn’t work, restart your computer.
The Official WordCamp Sacramento Schedule
The official WordCamp Sacramento 2016 schedule has been published for you to peruse!
To help you discover your own gold nuggets at WordCamp Sacramento, we’ve broken up the talks into two tracks, the Calaveras Track and the El Dorado Track, named for two prominent gold rush counties. Both tracks will feature a variety of talks from design and development, to content, business, and blogging.
If you want to see full descriptions for the sessions, you can click the link of the talk title in the schedule, or you can visit the individual Saturday Sessions and Sunday Sessions pages.
A couple things to note:
- Opening remarks begin Saturday morning at 8:40 am. We will have coffee for you, but not breakfast, so eat a good meal before you come or bring a snack with you.
- The After Party is Saturday, directly following the event at the same venue. No need to drive anywhere. Just enjoy food and more time to network.
- Sunday doesn’t start until noon! So, if you want to go out Saturday night for an after-after party with your WordPress friends, or you want to sleep in on Sunday, or you want to go to church before coming to WordCamp, you can! Just remember to eat lunch before coming.
We can’t wait to see you at the event!
