Expand Your WordPress Development Horizons
WordCamp Sacramento 2016 is excited to welcome developers from across the country to deliver talks that will help you expand your development horizons, discover new tools, and mine those gold nuggets available by digging into WordPress a little bit further. Whether you’re new to WordPress development and are just starting to customize themes, or you’re a seasoned pro building custom themes from scratch, we’ve got 14 sessions that will help you improve your development skills and projects.
Spread over two days, you’ll find sessions on topics ranging from performance and load testing, to BuddyPress and multisite, to local development and debugging, to theme development and working with the customizer — and we’ve worked hard to make sure that very few of the development sessions are at the same time, so you can attend almost all of them!
Plus, we have SEVEN business-focused sessions on topics like project management, pricing your web projects, leveraging partnerships, growing an agency and finding the right tools for your WordPress workflow, and NINE sessions on design, content, and blogging, including talks on content creation best practices, a content-first design process, and daily blogging. We’ve got sessions on theme design, podcasting, leveraging the Yoast SEO plugin, and more.
You can check out the complete two-day schedule to make a plan for which sessions you want to attend and see the specific sessions for non-developers below:
