Jennifer Bourn
2017 Lead Organizer
Jennifer Bourn is an award-winning designer and founder/partner at Bourn Creative, a full service design agency, specializing in premium web design, brand design, messaging, and content strategy services, with WordPress as her platform of choice.
Deep in the design and branding trenches since 1998, Jennifer leads workshops and speaks regularly at both virtual and live events across the country, co-organizes the Sacramento WordPress Meetup, headed up WordCamp Sacramento 2016, and is lead organizer for WordCamp Sacramento 2017.
When not working with clients, Jennifer manages the Bourn Creative brand, writes for several marketing blogs, and has her own personal blog Inspired Imperfection where she shares recipes, family-friendly adventures, and candid commentary on work/life balance.
Brian Bourn

Brian Bourn is the managing partner at Bourn Creative, a full service design agency and Genesis recommended developer. As a web developer, he has been working with WordPress since 2009 and has created over 150 custom WordPress sites.
With a passion for business, an eye for design, and a predilection for code, he provides consulting for small to medium-size businesses, works with clients around the globe on website strategy, and brings their vision to life through UX design and development.
Brian is a big believer in giving back and supporting the WordPress project and community and volunteers his time as lead organizer for the monthly Sacramento WordPress Meetup.
Jen Meyer

Jen Meyer is a third year Graphic and Web Design student at The Art Institute of California, Sacramento. She is also the co-president of the Graphic and Web Design Club at AI. Jen has several years of experience in information technology and project management, and spent time living overseas while serving in the U.S. Air Force.
When not working on homework, or various other projects, you can find her either camping at the beach, reading a good book, or re-watching old episodes of The X-Files. Jen is excited to be part of Sacramento’s first WordCamp, and looks forward to many more opportunities to get involved with the local design community.
Bill Mead
Video And A/V Wrangler
Bill Mead teaches web design and development classes at Art Institute of California, Sacramento. He has been building custom WordPress websites since 2005, and loves the platform and the community. He helped found the Sacramento WordPress Meetup Group in 2010 and is involved with other local groups including SacInteractive, the Adobe User Group, and the Sacramento Ad Club.
Jose Castaneda
WordPress Contribution Day Wrangler
Jose is a member of the Theme Review team and contributes to the WordPress forums. He has been working with WordPress since late 2011 and loves to help as much as he can. He likes playing Flamenco guitar when he can and lives in Roseville with his wife and son.
Mark Chouinard
Volunteer Wrangler
Mark Chouinard is an experienced engineer with over two decades comprehensive experience in a wide range of technical fields. Today Mark is a freelance developer who focuses on custom behavior and complex functionality. He spends his days (and some nights) behind his iMac developing back-end solutions for WordPress.
When not building WordPress sites for clients, you can find this East Sacramento native on adventures with his son — usually outdoors.
Gregg Franklin
Beginner Track Wrangler
Gregg Franklin is one of the partners at ServerPress, a fantastic software tool created for working locally on WordPress websites.
Gregg has been involved with the internet in various aspects since the mid-90s where he was a founder and vital player in the development and growth of an independent ISP in Southern California. Since then, he has been involved in web development and has been using WordPress exclusively for many of those years. He has developed major sites for some of Southern California’s best marketing companies.
Since he started developing in WordPress, he has become a very active member of the WordPress Community. Always anxious to give something back, Gregg takes part in many Southern California meetups every month, as a both a presenter and active audience participant. Helping people is what drives Gregg and he feels that The WordPress Community is the perfect place to do that.
Anthony Skelton

Anthony Skelton a freelance theme/plugin developer for local small businesses and entrepreneurs. He runs a photography and design business, Red Cart Studios, with his wife Pearl.
