On one hand, it’s hard to believe that WordCamp Sacramento 2017 is happening in only a few days. Yet, on the other, we’re neck deep in final details, errands, and communications, and we’re ready for it to just be here already!
The event is officially SOLD OUT with 500+ tickets registered. This makes WordCamp Sacramento one of the larger WordCamps in the United States — very exciting for California’s Capital City!
You may not know it, but WordCamps are organized, planned, run, and delivered by volunteers.
The organizing team volunteers their time to plan and put on the event, the speakers volunteer their time and pay for their own travel, and generous sponsors provide funding to make the event happen.
The event couldn’t happen without other important people…
The members of our local WordPress community who have stepped up to volunteer during the event. Registration, video, photography, social media, room managers, mic runners, event helpers, and other volunteers make WordCamp possible and help make sure the event runs smoothly.

Hi, I’m having a hard time downloading the desktop server. Is there a way to make these instructions more user friendly for those who aren’t techies – which is why Im’ attending the WordPress beginner track? THanks
The best thing to do is to contact DesktopServer directly and ask their support to walk you through it. They have fantastic support and they are super friendly.
Thank you to the organizers for making it pleasant and enjoyable, bringing together the best speakers to educate us, inspire us, and give us tools for business and personal development, and to the sponsors for their contributions so that we could have the venue at the Conention Center with great food! It was memorable and uplifting. I loved every minute!
