Ivan is the lead web developer and co-founder of Scribe \u2014 a full service digital creative agency in Sacramento. He is most often found working closely with the design team to conceptualize and create a wide range of visually interesting projects. Why Is This Important?<\/h3>\n

To push the web forward it\u2019s important that we as developers and designers know how to use tools that help break tradition. SVG graphics allow us to design and develop sites in new ways, solving responsive graphic issues we face with traditional formats, and enabling us to build unique sites.<\/p>\n

How Did You Discover WordPress?<\/h3>\n

I was given the task to rebuild a website, and was told the original site was built on a custom CMS and would like a different CMS, so a few google searches later I found WordPress.<\/p>\n

How Do You Use WordPress?<\/h3>\n

WordPress has become my go to platform for sites that need an easy way for non developers to make edits. Custom post types and fields have made it very simple for data to be structured for the way the owner needs it. <\/p>\n

How Has WordPress Impacted You?<\/h3>\n

I would say that if it wasn’t for WordPress I may still be waiting tables. WordPress project have contributed to a major chunk of my income for the past 10 years.<\/p>\n

What Do You Do When Not Working?<\/h3>\n

Personal activities would include going to the gym, taking my road bike out for a spin, reading books in the park, and \u201cCoffee & Code\u201d session with friends.<\/p>\n
