Just as Leia Organa relied on Obi-Wan Kenobi, saying, “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope,” we rely on speakers to volunteer their time and craft presentations that educate and entertain. We also rely on new people joining the WordPress community and getting involved to continue the project for years to come.

The WordCamp Scaramento organizing team has been hard at work behind the scenes nailing down the details for our fifth annual two-day WordPress conference—and we’re so excited to finally begin the speaker announcements. I know that every year we say, “This is going to be the best year ever,” and every year we truly mean it.

For 2019, we’re expecting over 500 attendees.
