How Did You Discover WordPress?
When I setup my first VPS at the company I was working at, I wanted to test my knowledge of a LAMP stack. I bought a domain and started writing a basic PHP site from scratch. I had some basic features working when someone asked if I was trying to re-write “WordPress”. After some initial grumping, I tested out WordPress 2.5. And that was it; from that point on, I was hooked on WordPress.
How Do You Use WordPress?
WordPress gave me a platform to work on websites so much quicker. The ability to add functionality by adding plugins, or even extending functionality by writing plugins is invaluable.
How Has WordPress Impacted You?
WordPress is involved in easily 85% of my career and business life, so it is a significant part of my livelihood. The community and people are great and I have formed some lasting friendships through our mutual interest of WordPress.
What Do You Do When Not Working?
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, playing online games and learning more about the world around us.
