With 350 Tickets Sold, WordCamp Sacramento 2016 Is Sold Out
WordCamp Sacramento, in only its second year, is proud to announce that once again we have sold out of all event tickets well over three weeks before the event. Sometime late last week the very last ticket for WordCamp Sacramento was purchased, and for those of you who were able to get a ticket, we can’t wait to see you in just a few weeks!
Our 2015 inaugural event sold out in just over two hours and with such a fantastic response from event attendees, we decided to go much bigger this year…
- We moved to a larger venue: The Sacramento State Harper Alumni Center.
- We moved from one day to two days: October 22-23, 2016.
- We increased the sessions and went from 19 speakers to 31 speakers.
- We increased the number of tickets available from 150 in 2015 to 350 in 2016, more than doubling the size of the event.
This year we also changed the way we released available tickets, moving from a single release of all tickets on one day/time, to a series of three ticket releases on different days of the week and at different times of day to accommodate the varying family and work schedules of our diverse community. This change was met with appreciation from many who lost out on a ticket last year due to prescheduled meetings and obligations.
- Ticket Release 1 sold out in 44 minutes.
- Ticket Release 2 sold out in 2 days.
- Ticket Release 3 sold out in about 9 days.
What’s Included With A Ticket
Tickets for WordCamp Sacramento cost $40.00. Your WordCamp ticket gives you access to the entire two-day WordPress-focused event.
This includes:
- Two full tracks of sessions on Saturday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Two tracks of sessions on Sunday (12:00 pm to 5:00 pm)
- An opportunity to network with and meet sponsors, speakers, and other WordPress community members, including business owners, designers, developers, agency owners, bloggers, copywriters, freelancers, site owners, and more
- Catered lunch on Saturday — with your choice of Premium Boxed Sandwich Lunches, including turkey, ham, roast beef, vegetarian, vegan, kosher, or gluten free
- Coffee and iced water throughout the entire event
- An awesome WordCamp Sacramento 2016 t-shirt
