HUGE Thanks To The WordCamp Sacramento Volunteers

On one hand, it’s hard to believe that WordCamp Sacramento 2018 is happening this weekend. Yet, on the other, we’re neck deep in final details, errands, and communications, and we’re ready for it to just be here already!

You may not know it, but WordCamps are organized, planned, run, and delivered by volunteers.

The organizing team volunteers their time to plan and put on the event, the speakers volunteer their time and pay for their own travel, and generous sponsors provide funding to make the event happen.

The event couldn’t happen without other important people…

The members of our local WordPress community who have stepped up to volunteer during the event. Registration, video, photography, social media, room managers, mic runners, event helpers, and other volunteers make WordCamp possible and help make sure the event runs smoothly.
