Jim Kaspari has a background in biochemical engineering and has used this strong left-brained capacity combined with right brained communication skills to help business owners understand and easily implement complex processes like website design and SEO. He has been a business coach for 12 years, coached over 500 clients in 9 countries. During this time, he observed that over 80 percent of small business owners desperately need help with online marketing, so he has dedicated his time and practice to this expertise.
We’re thrilled to have Jim onboard as a speaker at WordCamp Sacramento 2018 asked a few questions to help you get to know more about him. Check out our mini interview with Jim below:
What is the topic of your WordCamp talk?
Local SEO The Old Fashioned Way
Why do you think this is important?
More than 9 out of 10 local business websites are not ranked in the first 3 spots in Google. This means that for every 100 searchers, only a few will click through to their site. Can you imagine how much business they’re losing? Google has a complex algorithm that is updated daily by 2,000 plus full-time engineers. As business owners, you don’t have time to keep up with all this SEO technology. In this talk, I will explain exactly how to get these coveted top spots in simple English. You will be able to get the best results possible with the least effort.
What’s your WordPress origin story?
Many years ago a good friend of mine introduced me to WordPress. He was making a lot of money with online marketing and was kind enough to share his secrets with me. Now I share those secrets with others, and WordPress has been a perfect platform.
How has WordPress impacted your world?
Thanks to WordPress’ open source software, I’ve been able to help my clients get better search engine rankings, more web traffic and customize their sites to exactly what they want and need. The software platform combined with the incredible flexibility of themes and plugins has been fantastic.
I believe in not only designing beautiful, modern, functional websites, but also helping people get their ideal target market to find their site and use effective copywriting to convert these leads to sales and more business.
